Feelings

Historia

ROMAN TIMES

doot, doo doo doo dooooooo... etc.

The lookout is out
let out a big shout, maybe we're all at tea
There's no room no more
The room is berserk, it just don't work with me

It's a mission time (we'll talk about it later)
while I play you mine (just sit back)
watch the story fold (we've all been taught to go now)

show the ticket back, he's black jack

it's anybody's deal
let's try a new reel
and maybe something
I've got a hunch

with crutches now on you
let's try something new
and maybe someone
can turn a new wheel

doot, doo doo doo dooooooo... etc.

The lookout is out
let out a big shout, maybe we're all at tea
fade out on the moon
it's too soon to tell, it just won't work with me
it's petition time (we'll take a banishment)
try another line (it's all right)
seek a different route (we'll sing a song about it)
things will be just fine, there's no fight

it's anybody's deal
let's see how you feel
and maybe something
I've got a hunch

with crutches now on you
let's try something new
and maybe someone
can turn a new wheel

doot, doo doo doo dooooooo... etc.

Muscular System

Introduction

Animals can’t speak, but can communicate with each other. Bees can fly making circles when they find some flowers. Whales sing in order to communicate. Monkeys can produce some meaningful noises to express their mood. But we, humans, can speak to communicate.

We are animals, too. Animals can’t speak, but humans can. We are vertebrate and we can move. We have two legs and two hands. We can walk, run, dance, swim... But we can’t fly, since we don’t have wings.

We’ve got lungs. We don’t have gills. So we can’t breathe under water.

Our body covering consists in skin with hair. We not only eat vegetables as herbivores do, but meat as well. We are omnivore.

Babies are born from mother’s womb. Mummy feeds her baby with milk. So we are mammals.

Chapter I

The skeletal system

Fill in the blanks:

A human skeletal system has around 206 bones. These bones meet at joints. Joints allow us to move. The skeleton also contains cartilage for elasticity. Muscles are strong strips of fibrous tissue that hold bones  together at joints.

The most little bone in the body is the stirrup. Bones meet at joints. The bones located in the spinal column are the vertebrae. There are three long bones in our leg : The femur, the tibia and the fibula.
In our trunk we can find the clavicle, the sternum and the rib cage.

Chapter 2

The Muscular System

There are three different types of muscles: skeletal muscles, cardiac muscles, and smooth muscles. There are about 639 skeletal ______________in the human body.

Muscles provide ___________, movement and ________ for the body to keep warm. Muscles are made up of_________. The fibres ________when the muscles work.
